Last weekend I worked on a new site, related to the health industry so see how profitable this niche was. I picked an open source template, customized a little bit and put some relevant information related to the keywords I wanted.
During the three or four days of driving traffic through YSM hasn't been that profitable, not a good CTR. Probably is because of the layout and the ads placements. I'll give it another try, changing a little bit the layout to see what happens.
About my first project, it has improved in terms of backlinks, but not good enough to get a good page rank. I'm thinking also in changing things a little bit to see if it improves or not.
Now I have been reading that the crawl interval might increase if every time it visits the page finds new content. I have a couple of ideas on this issue that I'll have to check.
